Its Rapid models r/c airboat the model is 780mm long 340mm wide it has a metal geared 2.6 kg of pull steering servo is fitted a 42/50 turnigy 1150 watt (gt sport ) outrunner motor blushless a turnigy 80 amp speed controller is fit a three bladed 9 /7 pusher prop is fitted and a safety cage netting is fitted, the air boat runs on 4s 5000mah 40c lipo

But I finally got to grab some quick pic's of the Airboat running this afternoon, its abit slugish until it gets up on plane and quite loud like a weed wacker

It looks very nice and scale,:tiphat:
You should try to find scale driver for it to complete the look.
Also get some video of that thing running soon. :tongue_smilie:

I had a driver on it but it made it top heavy and even worse to control hehe, i'll try to get some videos the next time its out

Rapid models where on Ebay for about a year in 2009 they kinda rare now so best bet is keep eyes open on ebay

After been at a model air show couple of months ago ive came across the guy who built the airboats & he's working on a Mk2 airboat twice the size http://www.rapidrcmodels.com
