Looks like Jeff Wohit info@rcraceboat.com has a pretty good fix for the drive problems on the boat. An email from Jeff states (I have the setup. New octura coupler, 062 wire with drive dog and new bullet nut. All you have to do is bore out the plug on the stuffing tube. This is a great set up.) the price is $32.00 plus $8.00 shipping. I think I have sold my Minimono or I would try this.

This is the easiest and best bullet proof design I have come up with. Basically all new system and simple to install. Great boat but jumping in and out of the water is why the stock system fails. This system will be able to take an upgraded power system swell. Thanks, Paul.
