I personally havent known many 2.4 systems to be interchangable but I could be wrong. My guess is no.

Bill's 1st link results in a 404 Error

His 2nd link (http://www.atomik-rc.com/Steerix-STR...R-RC-Boat.html) is for a "Steerix STRX-9 RTR RC Boat", in the upper right corner of that webpage it states...

Price: $59.99
FREE U.S. Shipping on orders over $25
Stock: Out of Stock
Item#: 18005
-----------------------------------------------

Features:
• Powerful 180 Class Water Cooled Brushed Motor
• Durable Plastic Hull with Factory STRX-9 Racing Graphics
• Waterproof 2.4Ghz Radio and Receiver
• Adjustable Turn Fins
• Included 6V 260mAh NiMH Battery and DC Field Charger

Hope that clears up any confusion I may have caused.

I have had the Barbwire for a week now! Thing is a blast to play with! I have 2 other friends with the same boat and we have had so much fun running with each other. Also have had many spectators asking about where to get one and are amazed at how fast it goes as well as the self-righting feature.

Yo Bill,

Careful Bro - dangerous ground there - trying to put the FUN back into racing. We're way to PRO here in SoCal for that kind of action :

+1. I was there when Bill broke out this little guy on the full course after the heat races were done for the day and it was screaming for its size. It was running fast and stable.

just took mine out after work. that little thing is awesome. very fast and quick. turns sharp very responsive. right turn is too sharp and it does a turn sub just like on a stand up jetski. one question is it does not have a low voltage cutoff or does it? so how long should I run a full charged 1300mAh lipo battery. I'm a newbee with lipo and understand they can't be run too low. I do recommend this boat. what a blast.

WOW!! check out the Joysway lineups. think Atomik is going to dominate the mini's with this marketing strategy. screw renaming it to Atomik like they did with the Barbwire which they hit the jackpot... too much work. why not just bring the whole line.
