thank you randy for this fantastic boat i will make you very happy believe me

Cool we are both doing it! I am sure there is a lot of other people building Twin riggers I am keeping mine under 34 inches running twin 4S setups.

xaxaxaaxa nice randy !!! you put 2 riggers together? very good and very funny!!!

i am building a prototype and is a very aerodynamic hull...you will see...4s isn t enough for this hull.... i will prefer you go for 2x 6s and lower kv so that you put 50 diametre propeler.the sponson you make is very good but the is one problem with that hull....the wide of the it will cause a large amount of air going under the hull so the back flip it s very easy to happen....

I moved the aerodynamic lift back so the boat will not blow over so easy. The other boat was good to 98mph

my good friend i have an advice for you.... the gold rule of aerodynamics vehicles is the air you put in the roof of your boat must be 60% more than you put at the bottom....and always i am talking for speeds 100+ mph......use aerodynamics simulators programs for testing your shape....you will be more accurate and you will go more fast than you expect

Easy fix.... Put more aero downforce on the sponsons....??
Looks really cool Randy, I got faith in ya, you never know if something will work or not if you dont try it. With twice the power...you might need to paint twice as many flames on this one tho mate!! :-)

Ya I really have more worries about the ESC's than the hull design work I do and a wild paiting always makes it faster

randy i,am designing my own hydro and i dont know how long the sponsons should be how do you work out the length of the sponsons

It depends on application and type of water I am planning on running on. What you have so far?

Thanks Mike

my friends i respect your big experience in boats but some things must be checked from some programs like that....this is going to make you think about some things that you maybe never have thought in the past.......keep going

shape of the rigger looks awesome. But thrust me, you can almost completely forget the results of foilsim for our application. Its pretty precise for a free flow over and below the foil, but in our application we run these very close to the water surface and ground effect has a major influence which changes everything. If you use a simulation software where you can take that into consideration and adjust the heigth of the foil above the ground, then it makes sense!

Manuel

i am totally agree with you manuel.and i have adjust the height of the foil above the ground and i think i am 70% correct to my results. i have a lot of research to do but i think i am going to have a good result....
