The Quest Begins DF33

So i got a good surprise this morning my df33 came from OSE (thanks Steven) that was fast gonna start the build process tonight if i am allowed :Praying:you know the wife permission card must be attained. I have got all my hardware but the motor mount and turn fins they are on B.O. the dreaded letters on the invoice we all hate to see:doh:.Here are a couple of pics right out of the box will be posting more as i go if theres any pointers or comments please feal free to post them up.:lol:9179891799:tongue:

no i bought the sticker set i scanned it b4 i cut it if you want i can e mail it to you jeff it is 1:1 the scan is the perfect size i printed it to check

Got the motor leopard 4092 1730kv and the 240a esc now all im waiting on is the motor mount and turn fins which are both on backorder :frusty:

Got the turn fins put on now all the hardware is on just waiting on the stuffing tube now then i can mount the motor and finish electronics and put this boat in the water9278592786

Mamba can you give the part number to that rudder and turn fins? They look really good.i begin my build today.

Mamba ,did you modify that rudder? and are the two top bolts the only bolts holding it on? It looks like a very small footprint on that rudder. If it hits ANYTHING in the water,all that pressure is gonna be released right on that seam line!

Yes i had to mod the rudder but there are 3 bolts and had to beef up on the inside because of the cutting i had to do to the rudder mount

I have the same concern on the rudder just hope what i have done holds if i do have a issue of flight lol
