Revolt upgrade questions

Looking for a little help here...yes I have done several searches but I am not finding what I am looking for.

The project for the winter will be to get the Revolt 30 up and ready for spring. I see several posts saying I should get, at the
least the OSE shaft, cable and collet replacements. The question is...Which one? Do yo have part numbers to recommend? There are dozens on the site and I'd rather not order multiple parts that are wrong.

I am also ordering a x642 sharpened and balanced prop and a bullet nut.

I am in the middle of checking, tweaking and putting Loctite on everything that needs to be locked down. If I can nail down these part numbers I'll be in good shape.

Go to OSE home page Hardware on the left side, you will see many things.

The bullet nut looks nice, but in reality it does very little to the performance of the boat. Some will say it does absolutely nothing, I don't want to knock down any product that OSE carries, so let's leave it at that.
Also, the bullet nut will certainly back out in the water and making you prop-less, it is paramount that you use a lock nut before you install the bullet nut, the thin nut that comes with the flex cable/shaft is NOT a lock nut. Sometimes you have no room for the bullet nut after the thick profiled lock nut , so be mentally prepared that thr bullet nut may not be able to go on after all.

BTW, I don't know what kind of tools you have, I suspect that you need to grind a notch on the shaft for the set screw on the drive dog, another words OSE's shaft is un grind, it is the customer's job. if you don't have the tools, I suggest you call Steven and ask him if he can do it , be sure to tell him which prop and drive dog you plan to use, so he knows exactly where to grind the shaft.

I noticed the the water cooling tubes are 7/32", not 1/8" ... should that be changed, too, or is it ok as is? My PB boats all have the 1/8" tubing.

Regarding the flex shafts, each listing says what boat it is to be used on, and also if a different collet/coupler is recommended. The list isn't that big, so it won't take long to scan through and it has the all the most popular models.

If you are not experiencing any issues: i.e. temp, water leakage from the fittings, and water is exiting the hull consistently then I would leave it alone. The one NO-NO is to mix match diameter.

I have the stock tubing running a ul1 2030kv motor and seaking 120 and its cooling fine.

Thanks, just took it out of the box yesterday and checked it out ... 4" of snow yesterday, too, so it will be a while before it gets wet (probably a couple of months :crying:). I swapped the prop for another new 42X55 grim that I already had balanced (in anticipation). Checked the prop that came on the boat and one blade is quite heavy (but won't be for long!!).
