Another COG question????

In a cat the COG should be around 30%, my question is in a hydro, I am sure it must have to be much further towards the bow or front, where shound it be on a 30 inch hydro?

While it depends on the hydro design (sport hydro, rigger, etc) the CG is normally near the center of the turn fin. However some high lift hulls need it at the sponson transoms.

So I should have my COG at the center of the turnfin or at the rear of the sponsoons on a 30 inch sport hydro, where should my rudder go on the right or left of the prop?
