Ok guys i need help in a bad way i have 2 boats that are giving issues.I am running seaking speed controls in both boats one is a 120 and the other is a 180. When i first put them in the water and go to take off they blast out of the water and then seem to just go into safe mode. That is the best way i can describe it the seem to have full power for a split second and then only 3/4 power. I am using 2150 kv motors d wind and on my mystic i have blown 2 castle bec's in 2 runs. I have tried lowering timing making adjustments on my controler props and all i dont know what else to do please help.

And did you calibrate your throttle? Do you have the esc set to hard start? What do you have your lv cutout set at?

I just calibrate throttle and leave them on auto. Maybe a timing change but, thats it.

I have done the timing change guess i will try the lvc and use a lvc alarm and do a short run and see what happens i guess what timing is best on a d wind motor???

I would start with 3.75 and go from there

The bec should have nothing to do with the esc troubles no? The bec just powers your radio I thought.... I dont use external bec so I'm not really sure about that. As far as timing goes, should be no more than 5 degreees.

Got any pics of the inside of your boat and setup?

For d wind low timing, below 7.5. Y wind likes high timing, above 7.5

The problem you described seems like the well documented Seaking LVC issue. You can try lowering the lvc in increments (eg 3.2, 3.0, 2.8...). Going to 2.8V worked in my case. If not you can try turning off completely as mentioned already. I've also noticed that better quality batteries seems to make a difference also (able to hold volts better under load).

How long has this been happening? What prop are you using? What is your strut depth? What is the cutoff set to? What batteries are you running?

I'm also curious as to why you aren't using a seperate pack for the bec? The seaking has built in bec, so why bother using the castle one if youre still powering bec with your packs?

cause it drops my amp draw between 7-10 amps data by eagle tree

the issue just started batts are 5000mah 40c shy lipo strut is dead level cuttoff is set to 3.4

Turn your cutoff down to 3. 3.4 is high for that esc. Ok I can see why you use the bec now... 7-10 amps is pretty small tho. Try raising the strut up an 1/8
