Hi guys,
What safety measures do you take when balancing/sharpening/modifying props ?
When I read the warnings about Beryllium Copper on the Octura packaging I tend to turn green in the face and never want to touch a propellor again.
The clerk at my LHS says dont think anything of it and go right ahead without taking any precautions, because the amount of hazardous material is so little.
I took the precaution of buying a special dust mask and always working outside in the garden.
Are plastic disposable gloves a good idea? Seems to me that would really hamper prop work.
I was wandering how you guys were doing prop work ? :confused2:
