I have a delta 29 with a seaking 180 amp esc and a leopard 4074 2200kv and just tested it andit took 3 tries pluging in the batteries to get the rpm up at first 2 is was very weak sounding 3 times is a charm so i ran it with 2 7.4 65-130 c rating 5000 mah and the prop was a x 640 the batteries got very hot so is it because maybe the prop was too big?

aslo have a ul-1 with a fiago 7xl just need to figure out how to keep in on the water its too fast and on a 3/4 throttleturn it will wanna flip
and any faster its an airplane with a grim 40 52/3

You're probably just trying to go to fast with the UL-1, the design doesn't like much above stock speeds. It's a 350$ boat RTR it has it's limits.
A couple buddies of mine both have the same issues with their seaking esc. They always seem to be recalibrating the throttle or hooking them up to the programmers for some reason. No idea why or any solution, lots of people seem to have no problems with them. Once they get them running for the day they do run well with no more problems. What radio do you have? Both of them are running the flysky/hobbyking radios, I don't see why that would be an issue though, seems more to be the esc not arming right.

What connectors and timing on the DF? The Feigao is a higher rpm than the UL-1 motor so you will need an air dam and probably about 6 oz added to the front end. What is the depth of the strut?

try turning timing to 15 deg and a min. of 6.5mm conn. that may help,as well try to air the hull out a bit....if its not runnin well that is,running a wet hull can draw unwanted amps.how is it planing out as well?

What cells, and what is the LVC set at?

I would think 7 degrees timing would be better.

LVC - low voltage cutoff. This is the voltage that the boat lets you know it's time to bring it in. Maybe a 440, run it for a minute and check temps, then another minute and check temps. It's always a good idea to keep the runs short and check things often until you find a good set up.
