View Full Version : Has the Delta Sniper 44" ever been used for Saw Trials?

The hull has that small pad near the rear of the keel which frees it up more in the water. It can be had in all cf too so was just wondering if that size mono hull was ever used.

Where can you get it in all CF? I've had Steve ask DF if they could make one and Steve told me they could't. I would love to have one in all CF.

I have this hull and the bottom is identical. NO differences.

The amount of freeboard and measurements r the same EXCEPT it is 45" instead of 44" Deck has a different look.

The answer is yes, Jim Vaughn ran one in 2008 as T-Mono and T-Offshore. He made passes in the mid/high-80s but couldn't back them up. Finally crashed badly when he hit a fish....

88481Yes, indeed that hull was way fast on 10S. On the first day of the NAMBA SAWs that year the same boat running on 8S set the record for S-Mono at 75.20mph. The record is just 1.5mph faster today.
