I interested in the BJ29 RTR. The wood has been epoxied? can you explain the process of how you epoxied the wood?

mtbenjamine77, I mixed up some 30 minute epoxy and brushed a thin coat on all the wood/glass joints. Also applied to the surfaces of the wood. Only removed the velcro'd RX,ESC & lipo/nimh switch to get better coverage. Basically followed the suggestions from members who do this for added strength & harmonmics reduction. Any other questions, feel free to contact me. Steve

what type of 30min? I know my 30 min does not brush on very well, its too thick. Shoulda prolly used 24hr finishing resin. Did any get on the inside of the hull? I'll prolly pick this up from you but I to make sure that I can still easily remove the wooden framing.

I used Bob Smith Ind slow (?) 30 minute epoxy. The only parts of the inside of the hull that were epoxied were the joints that meet the wooden parts. You are right, the tops of the wood pcs. were thicker than the "seam" portions. Mostly the tops of the battery trays and ESC, steering servo wooden tray. It's not glass finished but noticable. I'll work with you on this $, let me know your thoughts ?
