Here she is before and after

here is some before from mid summer

still nothing great on the video will make a few runs closer to the boat next time
they will both run about 42-45 on the lake chop and top speed was 53.8 on smooth pond. the full marin foam front ends did take a few mph off but the weight it added made the boat run smoother and set in the water better.
running 2 Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 4S 65~130C Lipo Pack as after tesing many kinds get the best speed out of them see post

notice the driver side of the jet boat has perfect storage for the mg or mystic so the fun is always ready to go

Runs darn nice. I Never got my geico hull to run so smooth . With kintec rudder , sponson smoothing ore lipo plasement. Got my friends pnp mystic up and runing and it was 100% better.

Anyway, nice work on those boats, cool clips to :thumbup1:

Nice boats. Is it possible to mount these leo engines on the standard proboat motormounts?

Yup. Been running my leo 2000 kv in my geico for a year + now. You might want to glue down a small block of wood ore something to support the back of the motor

Then you are in for a fun boat. Get some 65-130c lipos like skyhighdiver talks about in the other tread and you're good to go. I use 4400 and 5000 2s nano's

I actually have my strut down about 1/4 inch below flush as I have a full foam filled front end on both boats now
It makes a huge difference in the stability of the boat especially from a crash or dive situation I used to split open my hull once a month
Just from dive after hitting a wake. 45-50mph to 0 in a foot is hard on them. But since I put down one layer of glass on front nose seam inside the hull
And marine foamed full to the motor mount I have not spit open again.
If stock stuff you will lose some speed from the extra weight but if you’re upgrading you will enjoy the smoothness that the extra weight gives you.
I ordered a new mystic hull mid-summer figuring I would need it as you can only put them back together so many times.
But it sits unboxed in my closet as they seem almost bullet proof now. It has porpoised many times and not even a crack

When you say 1/4'' below flush, and do you mean that you lower it setting it deeper in the water?

yes otherwise had cavitation on takeoff and hard turns
