I coated mine in corrosion x and it didnt matter.
I coated 6 in epoxy and it messed up all 6...
Ive had 3 go bad now after getting wet in various amounts. My observations are if there is ANY water in it then its junk.

I use the spray electrical tap and it works wonders on mine....
I think I have 10 of these receivers and all work great for me..

Sounds like epoxy and corrosionX is not the way to go for waterproofing receivers per Basstronics. I also have 10 or so Flysky Rx's that I took apart when first purchased and coated with spray on clear Liquid Electrcal Tape sealant and have had zero problems - even though some have been under water while running! After using Airtronics brand and paying up to $90 per receiver, Flysky is allowing me to enjoy the hobby much more. Nothing wrong with this radio system, I'll vouch for that!

yeah my P-SPec Mono had about 12oz of water in it after a race, dried it off and it still works great...

Sad thing is the one Basstronics had go bad and cost him his new rigger I was in control of.

I only use these on a gt3b, now even though i dont have any boats myself (YET ), i do have my stampede that i have had for over a year now running these recivers. I have had one fall out of the truck and get its case smashed, still works.
Shipping out of the USA is cheaper with hobbypartz: http://www.hobbypartz.com/fs-gtr3c-receiver.html

Rolled my air boat in weeds. Took 30 min. To get it out of pond. Took it and esc home - saturated rcvr and HK esc with Corrosion X and left sit 48 hours. Reinstalled in air boat and drove off. No problems at all.
