Can someone tell me how the changes affect the boat and if it's worth playing around with.

I just ran my blackjack 29 tonight for the first time. The thing is awesome. However, I just felt it was sitting a bit high out of the water on full speed runs. I didnt want to take flight (like I did twice with my Elam Plus).

With that said however, is it SUPPOSED to run high when on full speed? Would it be more "dangerous" if it were actually more on the water (like hitting chop)?

Also, just for kicks and giggles, if you raise the prop up, will you get a bigger rooster tail? If so, what does that do to the way the boat sits?

Just curious if anyone else messes much with the prop placement.

If you put the prop up in relation to the ride surface, the hull won't ride so high and loose.Depending on prop and such variances. I did this to my 35" DF and it helped to "settle" it.
