It rips but its gotta be glass for a 32" boat like that do go top end on 4s. I like the setup because I can run it 3s and do around 58-60mph and be able to control it well, not just do high speed passes.

thats cool... i am just running a neu 1527 1Y and with a 240 castle esc on 6s but can i just run 3or4s will it hurt anything i am sure i will have to play with the prop but if i want to just get more play time out of it what is the best thing to do .......now i hope this isnt hijacking your thread my asking you this

Im assuming the neu 1527 that is 1500kv? No, 3 or 4s will be too slow on that KV. Not enough RPM's. You doing two 3s lipos in series? You can try the two 3s in parallel but its going to be really slow, and likely struggle to get up on plane. 6s is a hot setup for such a small hull. You should easily be able to get that size hull in the 60's on 6s. What size prop are you using?

my neu 1527 1Y its 1250kv ... i was told to start out with a 447/2 but i can go up to 457/3 and anything in between and i was told to use 2 s6 5000 65c 22.2v in what would it be series .....

You do NOT want to run two 6S packs in series! You want to run them in parallel for a total of 6S2P.

An x457/3 may be too large for a 34" boat, it will stress the motor and cells and cause a lot of prop walk. Run time will be low too. I ran that motor and cell count in my 34.5" SprintCat and the largest prop I felt was safe for racing was an x455/2 detongued. I run the x455/3 in my 10S 41" cats. You could run an x447 or x450 for more reasonable speeds and longer run times. Going to 3S would be too slow, even 4S may only get you into the 40s depending on the prop. If you don't want to run 6S then 5S would work. But IMO that motor is really 'best' on 6S.

Thanks Fluid....ya i didn't mean to say it that way i meant to say do i run them in series or parallel ...but thank you either know i screwed it up you answered me ..lol ill be running it on 6S you and a few others are telling me my motor runs the best on 6S.....but prop wise i am going to try a 457/3 not that i don't believe you i am new to this and want to see for my self and learn from it if that makes any sense.....

If you want to learn by spending lots of money on burned up ESCs then by all means start with that 10S prop. Just don't come back and whine about that lousy speed controller. At least only run for one minute and come back in to check temperatures. Keep checking each minute until you know the prop is safe.

Hey Fluid thanks for the info no one ever said i can burn up the esc from over propping so ya that i will watch for that and if i do try the bigger prop i will take short runs to see what is going ....even if it is my wife's money i am burning up...lol....JK...... i have 3 props to start out with and i just want to see what one will perform the best the 457/3 is my biggest one but i will run it like you said thanks

Just curious on how to make the x442 props go 75mph. Will this prop go faster and faster the more rpm you put to it?

That can be true with most any prop to an extent. There are parts of the prop that govern the RPM that can be cut off.
As rpm and load increases, you need the right prop to acomidate it. There are several factors to consider. There is a correct prop for each app, and RPM range..
