well will the stock motor handle 6s being a 1800kv i think it should but wanted to get opinions thanks :confused2:
5s yes, 6s? Maybe for a short time, but it will eventually destroy it. Could be 30 seconds, could be 3 runs. Bad idea tho

Of course I could be totally wrong. I would go for something in the 1500 kv range

i used to run a 2200 castle in my spartan on 6s and ive seen many people use a 1800 leopard in the spartan but im still learning this kv and cell business in boats

Why higher voltage? Why not just prop up on the 4s setup? An x640 or even an m445 may really liven it up.

well i went back to test the 45x68 and did not gain a bit of speed just wanted to jump it up some and see what happened

You're using a high lift prop on a Vee hull that wants forward propulsion....................

So running an extreme voltage, on a smallish motor with a lifting prop designed for a Hydro or rigger is the answer................

thats what im asking should i go with a different motor for that voltage cause im thinking i got a dud motor or would you suggest a different prop was thinking of a prather 220 what is your opinion
