well i got my revolt yesterday overall i am very happy here is a few things i noticed
-all the gear on the back is way loose (no biggy)
-i got no owners manual or stickers:confused2:
-when i turn the prop the motor wiggles back and forth:doh:
-there was nothing holding the hatch on so its scratched allot around the hatch hole (again no prob)
- i do have lock nuts on all hardware thats a plus
it almost seems like i got a boat that someone else had returned but i can fix all that is needed here is a video of the motor wobble

You appear to have either a bad coupler or a bent motor shaft. Try removing the coupler and spinning the motor shaft to see which is bad. It's possible the coupler is cross threaded. Video is a bit shaky and too short to look closely.

Check out my gallery I mounted the ET to balance the boat out side to side. Aeromarine flex collet and Hughey shaft is what I am running trouble free. Stock prop runs good 45x68 pulls more amps but adds mph.
Have fun man.

Well .... you may be expecting a bit much. Flex cables flex .... that doesn't look like a kink (sharp bend).

this i know when i pulled the old one out it had like a 45 degree bend on the end of the cable

I wouldn't bother getting them to replace the stock flex. They are so suspect that you don't want to risk losing a good prop. Many times they fail in the first couple of minutes. Jmo

Looks great! And good luck on your maiden voyage! Very exciting! If you get a minute, I'm most interested in how the Seaking ESC works out for you? Are you starting out with the timing at 11.5? What do you have the LVC set at? I guess I'm most interested in what type of warning you get when your batteries start to run down. With the stock ESC there's a feature called "Studder Bump" but basically if this happens you really have no time to bring it in and you get stranded. I have taken measures to overcome this by just running for a few minutes and bringing it in while it's still running fast, but it sure would be nice to maximize my running time. Anyway, sorry for being long winded, just really interested in how well your ESC works and what kind of warning you get.
Thanks,
Tom

Hardpacks?

If so the 4mm bullets leading to the pack are just not going to cut it.

When you get a chance, post some pics of the melt-down so we can see exactly where the heat was excessive.

also how long are your wires? keep them as short as you can and put some 5.5MM conectors on there.

the heat was right where the wire went into the battery
