Whats the timing on the factory motor in the Proboat Miss Geico? Put in a t-180
The stock timing is 10 degrees.

What's the range? I know on my Leo 4074 an 4082 the timing is anywhere from 10-15

Timing depends on the motor construction and the amp draw you demand. The higher the amp draw, the higher the timing advance is required. The timing range the maker specifies is conservative to keep newbies out of trouble. In extreme cases you can go to 20* or higher with some motors (not the PB motor), I've proven the power advantage in competition. However, for most use with the limited motors 10* is ample because you can't pull enough amps safely to require much more. I've run 15* on some limited motors and seen a small increase in speed - but also an increase in heat.
