MY MG w a Tacon 3674 1700kv w Seaking T180, S&B X642 went for a dip and for about 3 minutes, after I dried it out I went for a run and it seemed fine but run time was about 2 minute! My 5000ma 2S still had 4v per cell, hmm, tried again same thing. thought that I would check programming with the card, set for autocell count, 3.2 LVC, and 15 timing - same thing still had 3.9 per cell. Programming seemed to not have ant effect on the actual lvc, thought maybe that the dip had blown the programming circuit or something. One more time set card to 4S, 3v lvc, and 11.5, put on my M445 ran good and for a decent runtime, however when I brought it in both packs puffed badddd. I don't know if it is my motor, esc or the batteries that getting soaked caused the problem? Obviously I don't want to ruin anymore batts, is there a way to test the motor or esc? Any thoughts or personal experience would be appreciated.

Sounds like batts demolished by water or you get a little bit water into the esc, tryd to open the esc and look inside? (some escs you can open without a problem like the seaking 180)

My last boat gets just a little bit water into the esc and it makes Bumm :( got the same problem before,2x 8400 mah 3s serial on the seaking 180amps, 2-4 minutes runtime and it stopps, again and again and again, don't do the same mistake like me ignoring this or thinking it was a receiver problem :)

I am going to replace the esc, it sounds like yours did the same thing. Water must have done something bad!

I recently got my T-180 wet.A little bit of water got inside. The next run it only would do half throttle.I took the ESC apart and poured some rubbing alcohol over it(it displaces the water).Let it dry apart for a few days and it works fine now.Don't give up on it yet.
