I got this boat in trade this last weekend and its really a beautiful boat I'm just not much into the hassle of nitro. Is it easily possible to convert this hull to an FE setup. The hull itself feels really thin and flimsy so that is gonna need some work for sure but I'm still trying to learn all the motor and ESC sizing so idk what I need. Id love to see this boat be a UL-1 slayer say 40-50mph. This will be my first boat built so bear in mind i am a newb. Thanks guys!

Well I've got two of them. One I couldn't refuse the price on and it was converted already(though I had to make some changes).I maidened it yesterday. The other is still stock. So if you have questions, fire away and we can work through it.

The ProBoat Miss Bud and Miss Elam are very similar, here are some links.

Fluid you are the man! I figured I wasn't the first lol. awsome I will just start will disassembley of the hull and start reinforcing it a bit or do I even need to do this? I guess the next step would be selecting a motor mount, Motor and ESC. then I can start looking at hardware and what I need to do with the stuffing tube or if its a solid shaft which I think it is. Id like 50mph or maybe a little more if its safe. goals are, max speed (king of the pond lol), run time 4min or less, reliable, so what battery setup? 4s1p?

I have done several in both sizes. Make sure you have flotation. Mark sank his with not enough flotation.

Awsome info guys thanks a ton hoping to start on this project pretty soon. I wanted to save the original paint but I dont think its gonna happen I wanna do some reinforcing in the hull and some surface crack repair but I should be able to airbrush the the lettering back on.
