Guys,

Noticed Steve is out of teflon tubing for 1/4" stuffers. Does anyone know what the true specs are for this material (ID/OD)? What is it really used for? And where might I find some locally (without internet orders). noticed "Another web site" has them but want over $10 for a 11" piece and that I won't do.

Thanks.

I have 2 brand new teflon liners made by Octura I bought from OSE Ill sell. I never opened the packages. Getting out of boating, so I prefer to sell both at the same time. Ill sell both for $12 shipped.

Thanks for the response:

I guess my question is a bit more general than just getting my hands on one for my use. Does anyone know the background on what they were originally used for or intended for? I assume teflon tubes were made for other uses and adapted for our use, right? Octura makes them specifically for boating, but are theirs different than any other type? (if there are any)

If I had to guess, i would say maybe used in refrigeration applications, such as water line to run ice maker and water on fridges that have them built into the door. Maybe plumbing supply stores carry it.

Wow. That is a lot of tubing! Seems like mainly indoor plumbing supplies.
