Looking good. The batteries splayed in the sponsons seemed to help reduce the chine walk on my ul1...

Did it make it race worthy?

Did it make it race worthy?

I never raced.
Onething I did do was taped a few oz of lead weight (same we use on our planes, I'd imagine you have some laying around) to one of my batteries and I used that battery on the same side as the turn fin. The curved lower portion of the turn fin is what provides lift for the front, when it gets unsettled is when it starts loading & unloading the hull and the chine walk occurs. The goal is still allow the turn fin to lift the hull, but add a little bit of weight so its not as easily disrupted. That was my goal at least. Seemed to help. Detox did a thread on changing the AoA of the ride pads on a ul1. I think that was a good route to go. Also try a straight turn fin. In race water as she is she might dance a tad to much.

Looks like you got the decals safe and sound. I was travelling at the time and dropped them in the mailbox on my way up north! Hope you like them. Both of your boats look great by the way!!!

That prop needs to be thinned out quite a bit and sharpened to get it to 'hook-up'. Even then, it will cavitate for a little before it goes (i.e. Sunday pontoon drive). But once you get it hooked, she'll fly. You may have to feather the throttle in at first. One of my favorite props of all time. Wish they made a slightly larger one.
