Hi anyone know if it will run with a 2 cell 7.4 lipo with no problems? I heard you may need a diod on the servo lead to drop voltage to the servo on RCU...is this correct...has anyone been running lipo with the stock set up?
THANKS

I cant imagine that a few extra 10th's of a volt would require any changes. Probably with 3s. Because of the large increase.

Yea that's what i was thinking..some guy on RCU said his servo was going whacky... and another member said to use a diod in line with the servo to drop the voltage?
Steve did you run yours on a 2cell lipo yet?
If so how did it run?
THANKS

Cool from the few videos i seen of them they look like they run real good for a small sized boat.
I ran mine with a 7 cell nmih pack and it really scoots (compared to the stock 6 cell pack). Not sure how it compares with 2s lipo's - I don't have any of those yet.
