replacement motor for the minimono

Hey guys,

My father and I were out running our minimono's this morning and I brought mine in just in time to open it up and disconnect the battery be for the motor caught fire. mods to my boat are a seaking 35 amp speed control mounted in the bow and an apache plastic prop. I was wondering if anybody was able to point me in a good direction on a fairly inexpensive replacement motor that in equal or even faster than the stocker. if anyone is able to help I would really appreciate it as the stock motor is back ordered.

thank you very much for the help kyrzrone. no that i have a new motor ordered. i'm wondering does anybody know of a modified motor for these things. i want to try and go a lil faster
