Maybe Rob join you? Oh he is too busy with his own?

Robs problem is time... He hasn't been able to make time. Also the lakes out here )since there was no frost this past winter ) all have tons of growth in them which we all know is death to these boats especially at high speeds. She did flip during this last speed run and it was a pretty hard hit, happy to say the hull wasnt damaged very happy with this hull. I do want to reinforce over winter any tips nata on what I should do?

You could reinforce With some carbon Kevlar cloth, specially where the 2 moulds are joined all the way around the hull, plus pour 2 part expandable foam in the nose. That's what I plan to do in near future. Haven't heard from Rob for awhile, is he liking his new toy?

I will ask around about the foam as this I something I hear and read a lot but have never done. I got some carbon Kevlar sitting around from HK looks ok but don't know if to use it.

How's your 54"?
This is mine, I took these pictures march 2011 my son was 1 month old.. He's 16 months now and the hull is exactly the same untouched. Some day.....

Nice man!hows the build on her? I liked the Shweet deal you got I must say it was a good buy. any runs yet? Mine is currently under cunstruction as it delaminated at 85mph in 5cell cross wind took her up again.. 847628476384764

I haven't got it running yet. Its weird, I can't get the collets to hold the drives. They backout just bench testing. Mike pulled them just prior to shipping. They seem to not go far enough into the collet, and the prop shaft is flush up to the stingers. Definitely a good buy, but hasn't seen the water yet. Been tinkering with my Cintron Fightercat. The guy I bought the hull from mounted the motor mounts a little too far from the front. I can't get batteries into the sponsons.

Carbon fiber bulkheads made from carbon plating material from ProTec Composites would help

Where in Jersey are you, I'd like to see this beast run and I'll gladly take a video. I'm up north in Union County but I've been to Lake Manalapan a few times.

I'm in Bergen county, usually at horseshoe lake or a private lake behind my cousins in Washington township. Skull you should leave alittle space there between shaft and drive also I would think about resetting the motor mounts if they are far infront might throw off cg, I would also invest in rear supports for your motors if they are 92mm you should put the rear support in its a must..

Pro painter? What is that your suggesting? Is it for my fix?

I figured out the problem with the collets. I took the collets apart and Mike had the brass piece inside them in backwards. The clamping ends were facing the motors.

Pwb201

Yeah at first I had them in backwards and its impossible to get off I should've told you sorry bud don't think about it.
