http://www.nitrorcx.com/99b-10022-snap-720-ep-kit.html off a friend of a friend for $260 all up it comes with two leopard 3674 2650 kv motors and coolers id say he just ran it on 3s.

But thats ok as i have 40c 3s batteries its also custom painted i have already ordered a T-180 esc and other goodies.

I was going to run the batteries 3s2p in parallel so i can balance the boat properly instead of it being heavy on one side.

It also comes with a metal prop ive sent a message to find out exactly what prop it is.

sweet looking boat for sure,If it were me I would be maybe using a castle 1515 2200kv motor with your 180 amp esc on a m445 prop and if room for batteries id use 4s2p as this is a roughly 28inch boat.should be a rocket. If you are newish to the boating scene maybe try using a proboat 1800kv motor on 4s1p with a slightly smaller prop like maybe a x642.3s in this boat is ok but unless you go 3s2p you will have kinda short run times imo.

An x642 is actually quite a bit more prop than the m445...............total pitch for an x642 is the same as an x448.

Shannon, i really dislike that kv zone personally, but 3s sounds best. Those 4 pole Leopards will make that hull fly...............I'd throw an x440 on it first and see what she does.

Hi driftah thankyou i may change the motor eventually so i can run 4s etc and yes it will be 3s2p in parallell around 5000 mah with packs i have.

Thanks make a wake yeah i dont like that kv rating either thats why i definately running it on 3s but coming with 2 leopards was an awesome deal and having 3s packs doing nothing i was like yeah perfect for this boat.

And yeah i have a leopard 4074 in my apparation and the thing pops out of the water lol awesome motors for the money waiting for some more money to get it a good prop and i will give the x440 a shot when i get the prop for the apparition. Thanks for all your help guys

Dang, I love the info on these forums!
sounds like the reason why I can't keep my OM29 with that prop on UL-1 power from blowing over..
Looks like I'll try a M445 next :tiphat:
