Just finished putting in a seaking 180 and Tacon 4074 2150kv in my Proboat Mystic and was wondering if a m445 prop would be a good prop to try out with this setup.Below is a video from my first test run of the new setup which is on 2 2s 5300 gens ace lipos and on stock unbalanced proboat prop that came with it and also on stock strut settings.I think more speed will be capable out of this setup and any help will be appreciated.
After that test run all temps around 100 degrees and it was 95 outside so I know I can definitely prop up.

Does it look like it is getting full throttle? I calibrated the esc to set throttle points. Also used program card and setup for 4 cells, 3.0 LVC,and 15.00 timing.
She was a little bouncy and that was with the batteries in the front of the trays. After that 2 minute test run I ran 1 more minute and still had 3.84 volts per cell(7.68 total) left in the lipos.

Does this run look about how fast it should be going on that stock prop on 4s with stock strut settings? And how much faster will it go on a better sharpened and balanced prop?
What strut setting should I try next?

Thank you for all the help you guys provide and I appreciate and welcome any suggestions.

I can'y really tell if you got the most out of it. I can how ever show you my friends PNP Mystic I'm setting up for him.

It's with stock motor , T180 esc Prather 220 prop and nano 4500 45-90 C + later 65-130 C lipo's.

Flipp to hd for some better IQ.

I have the Geico, and have been struggeling with the bounch. On the Mystic, I just stuck my finger in the air on battery placement, and it was smooth. The Prather 220 prop seems to work nice on this boat, on my Geico , prather props would make it bounch more than, say the M445 prop. Also, not sure if you can hear it, but I could feel the difference from the 45-90 to the 65-130c, so next time, I'll be getting the higher C ones again.

Seems like you have a little bounch to.

I must say I cannot sharpen and ballance props my self so I get it done at the shop i order from (funrcboat.com) It's important to have it S/B, so order , ore have some one fix you're prop(prop's) for you.

We have now ordered the same as you have(just the Leo 4074 ) 2150 kv motor.

Timing 11 on the T 180
