UBec or not for this situation

I run uBecs on some of my boats, but not all.

I have a tunnel with an aquacraft ESC (the one with the single large cap). I've shortened the battery lead wires to a min, and that has really helped to reduce the cap temps (thanks Fluid), but they are still hotter than what I'd like to see. The rest of the ESC is cool, so is the motor.

Would adding a BEC do anything for cap temps? I know BECs make the workload easier on the ESC, but if the ESC-proper is already cool I don't want to waste the $$ on a bec.

Let me know what you think.

A Ubec won't help with cap temps. Only more caps will.
