Strut height

Hey guys,I am putting together a PB Miss Bud (same as Elam)and am going to set a new stuffing tube with a exterior strut.What I need to know is roughly the height of the strut so I can epoxy my tube in.Thanks in advance, Shawn

So to add;this is a partially converted hull that I got.Here is what I have so far

The motor is a Hacker B50 6XL 2630kv

It came with the rudder and I got this strut for it

And it had a broken tube in it and the old setup was removed

So if you guys can help me set my strut height so that I don't end up putting too much pressure on it later with adjustments it would be appreciated.Thanks again

Did you ever get the strut figured out if not let me know and I can tell you what mine is set at.

I got it running fairly well.Changed to a 1512 2650 motor,set the strut centerline at 5/8 from the bottom where the strut is not the rear pads.This isn't a very good vid to see how it runs but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guG4RSDYW7M&feature=g-upl
