Love the stars and stripes on that hull, one of my next paintjobs (truck or boat) is going to mimic the A-10 of my local squadron. Not exactly a take on Old Glory, but patriotic nonetheless.

Happy birthday America!

It was my #1 job choice prior to being medically DQ'd, now I'm studying to be a naval architect with an eye on a job with NNS designing the next generation of carriers. It can only help to have experience with fast electrics, or ummm high speed, renewable energy vessel dynamics... Yeah, we'll go with that lol

The Navy was my 1st...only choice! I come from a long line of Navy officers and After my medical QD (shatterd wrist) i had to be a merchant sailor! They have lower standards i guess. At least im still at sea!

The inverted star IS an accidental mistake, BUT there's another big anomaly.

C'mon Jay; THINK !

Hint : There's two decals that wouldn't have existed simultaneously :confused1:

I know it's technically incorrect to have the flag on the starboard side with the stripes facing the direction of travel. Also your "N" number on the back (NAMBA?) wouldn't exist on a military aircraft. I still think she's pretty regardless! Am I also wrong in assuming the flag may have 50 stars on it despite portraying an aircraft during a time period (those appear to be WWII Japanese flags) predating 50 states?

My guess: The graphics are on a boat! :noidea:

....and it has no power plant

Correct on both, BUT there's still a glaring inconsistancy in the interplay of the graphics. I found out about it myself long after I decorated the boat. Possibly only those that have "been there" would pick it out. :noidea:

Oh, the graphics. They are way too far from water....

(sorry if I am annoying you. It seems funny to me) (last post on this... But I am watching to learn the real answer)

Randy,

thos are all really slick.

You happen to go to the singing flag last evening in Concord. Very well done. It is a tribute to our country and her soldiers. No boats, but they had all branches of the armed forces represented. With a armored Hummer. Very cool event!

Thanks guys we all lost a great guy, he has been in to RC, Scouting and many other hobbies for a long time. He raced Nitro back in the seventies. He was going to help me get electrics going good in district 9. He wa a bright spot in my day when ever he came in my shop.
