Anyone have experience with these im running x447s right now but will move up to leopard 4082 1800kv on 5s in a 41 inch cat. I feel like these motors wont be working hard to push the boat just curious how it will respond to like x450s 3 blades. I know ben at fc has the left right props at 1.8mm seem cool bit i don't want to max out my motors esc.

Im assuming 5018 means 1.8 pitch 50mm diameter. I used the ose calculator and moving from an x447 it seems to be a way more serious prop. What boat you running the props with and does it stay cool?

You are assuming correctly.
I'm running them in a FC Shocker 37" hull. The motors and all are good temps thus far. Here's a vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO93aXMlmWk&feature=plcp

If I take a little time and get it up to speed it is good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZAJcgZP-10&feature=plcp

Wow...that thing grips i have never seen something like that lol. I saw you were running the 618 also. Whenever i watch the rc boat vids every boat seems ro reach top speed very quickly and high rpm is the way to get there. I would assume a low kv motor combined with a difficult prop to spin would work. So many combinations exist its ridiculous. I think ill be picking up the 618s and the 3 bladers starting on 4s thank you for your help

Mine rips real good with the 447's.I think it is about the same as the 4518's actually. Also Fightercat's 448's or 648's are good as well.
