Hi, looks really good. I have a ekos hull with crash damage (easy repair) and I am planning to turn it into a single like this. Can you post a picture of the offset rudder setup? I'm not sure if I want to go offset or inline yet and would love to see how yours turned out. Have you run this setup yet?

I'll post a pic and I'm going to upload a video. This setup cruises at a cool 62 mph.

Yes I have, it's pretty freaking fast. I have a few boats and this setup is my favorite for single. I have. Mg on 6s that runs in the mid 50s and it can't keep up with this.

Looks sweet! I'm digging the offset rudder. Now that I see it I think its worth the PITA to move the servo to the other side! Nice to know the hull is stable at 60+

Yeah loving it with the offset rudder, some may disagree, but how can it not help....you don't have a rudder blocking your backwash anymore.

Better make sure the fake exhaust ports are sealed and not loose. Mine nearly fell out on their own. That motor is a torque monster too...they run well. One thing Id do is ditch the cooling "Y". Youll get more water to the motor and esc. Cool the esc first, then the motor mount, or omit the mount cooling, since it does basically nothing anyway. Nice build.

I just ordered that motor for my FC Daytona. Like Larry said, get rid of the Y. Water flow will take the path of least resistance and it looks like your ESC water line is longer then the motor line, so you may not be getting much cooling to the ESC...Looks good. Post a vid if you can.

The fake exhaust is pretty sturdy but not the windshield, it blew off but into the hull, which was a blessing. You're probably right about the "Y", my first time trying it and it does seem to run hotter than a single watercool line setup. It's one of those things you learn by trying...at least I can make a legitmate comment to someone else because I've been there also. I'm going to swap it to single and take a temp reading.

Lines are close to length, it wraps to the back of the hull...cant really see it in the pic . Video is posted, it's linked under one of these post.

Completely missed that, thanks. Runs strong!

No problem, I went ahead and linked the video. The FC 3730 seems to be a lot of power, more than needed.
