waterproofing swordfish esc help

can anyone explain to me how to waterproof my swordfish 200amp esc properly

1. Cut the clear heatshrink off the outside
2. Mask off the wire leads with tape
3. Either spray or dip ESC in Liquid Electrical Tape (sold here on OSE)
4. Re-cover with clear heatshrink (sold here on OSE).

The Liquid Tape is a little messier than the spray on but gives better coverage.
