Picked up a Super hawaii from Doby that is powered by 2 SV ESC's and 2 SV motors.

Having a bit of a problem. not sure what is going on. \
i had no idea how to program the ESC, i looked it up on the net

here's the procedure i found-

turn on transmitter and boat

wait for beep from esc then full throttle your transmitter
beeps again
and then return to neautral and its ready to go.

well in order for me to get the esc's and motors to do anything
i have to full throttle it, full brake, full throttle and then full brake.

the problem-

cant shut the throttle off on the boat.
from the git go its wide open.
if i use the brake all the way it stops.
when i begin to back off the brake the motors start
spinning.
They start spinning before i get on the throttle it self.
thats what happends if the throttle is reversed.
if its not reversed i have the same problem only
i have to stop the motors from spinning by giving it throttle with
my remote.
im using a fresh channel, nothing changed
i've tried both PP and HRS.
PP doesnt work. or i cant get it to atleast with the ESC's.

any ideas? :help:

first electric set up to by the way.
so i have no clue.

Thanks for any help

Sound like throttle trim is not set correctly. Try setting it in the neutral position and go from there.

When you plug in the batts you should get one beep.
Pull trigger to full throttle you should get one more beep
Return to neutral and you should get 5 beeps.

everything is at neutral, i started with a new model number on my remote, nothing has been tempered with.

that is what i get when i plug in the batteries.
i pull the trigger and get a beep, and then that is all i get
i have to apply full brakes to get anything else.
when i return to neutral i dont get any beeps at all

I had a similar issue with my Spektrum initally, the speed controllers had two positions, off or full.
I finally did a radio reset , where I cleared all of the setting I had entered, went to the original factory defaults and everything worked.

try reversing the throttle channel switch

when i do that i have the same problem, but when its reversed i have to hold the throttle wide open to keep the motors from spinning.

as soon as i start letting off the throttle they start spinning. Brake is WOT.

i was told that one of the red wirese leaving the esc on one of the esc's should be removed when on its way to the receiver.

i completly unplugged one of the receivers from the Y harness, and tried programming just one.

same thing.

beeps, WOT. and then nothing untill i get on the brakes.
then it beeps again. then WOT and brakes again and then the motor/esc
is screaming untill i get completly on the throttle or completly on the brakes.
