Yes its a 6pole, but more importantly its a "y" wind. Timing should be 7.5 - 15 although I would think 11.25 would be best. That's on a seaking esc, swordfish escs med timing should be just fine.

Change the motor/esc connectors to 5.5mm bullets the stock 3.5s wouldn't work, make sure your not using deans plugs 5.5mm or ec5 connectors. I'm personally NOT a fan of 1800kv motors and 6s, unloaded rpms are outside my comfort zone although being a 6 pole helps. Prop small, keep the runs limited to a few wot passes and keep in mind if it blows its your fault not a PB issue. Lot of guys run the motors way past what is recommended and get an attitude of something bad happens which isn't cool... in my book at least.

Yeah it's a 180 hobbywing and I set it to 11.25. It already has 5.5mm bullets on it so that's done. I might just get 5s packs for it or more 7.4 with more ahr's.

There is a lot of room in there! (Mystic)

If you already have 2s lipos just get some 3s lipos same brand, mah and c rating as your 2s packs and run 5s.

Can this motor spin a x442 prop? I just ran it w/ 2p, 4s pacs and clocked 38.8mph with stock mtr and prop. 4s bats are to big though. Make the boat heavy also.

Yup perfectly fine to do. Doesn't matter which lead ends where. Just make sure your wiring in series and not parallel.

Should spin just fine on 4s. Just drop down to 4s and not 4s2p. At speeds on stock motor on 4s your just carrying extra weight around.
