Up is my seldom used Miss Elam. I have a Leopard 4074 2150kv in it and a set of 2s batts for 4s running. Batteries stay with it, 3300 30c's and are plenty to get this guy going to 50 mph. It had a Neu 1515 1100kv in it most of its life on 8s but I wanted a 4s boat. Its a nitro to electric conversion. Octura x642, waterproof Traxxas servo and bullets on the motor. NO ESC, i just sold a 3 run Mystic on here and I'm being told the ESC doesnt work....??.....
So you will need a 49 dollar Turnigy 120a or something you have lying around 120a or more, need your own TX/RX as most of these boat sales do. There is one epoxy filled hole you can see on the underside where a drill bit went a bit too far, it is smoothed out and doesnt effect a thing. Once again, Lipos are included and mounted in the canopy for a great COG.

So:

Miss Elam 28" Hydro
Leopard 4074 2150kv
Nice aluminum water jacket
All yellow tygon tubing installed
Traxxas 2056 waterproof servo
Two 2s 3300 30c lipos
Custom turn fin
Octura x642 sharpened and balanced.

$249 shipped to the lower 48 only, no insurance included, paypal or money order accepted.

If you want it, tell me ON THIS THREAD and i will then post my paypal or accept a US Postal money only.

Thanks:Peace_Sign:

Can I get back to you tomorrow? A friend of mine wants something, but this may be pushing it for the offshore conditions he might face.

and is 5000mah to much for the hull?

They are excellent hulls and can run a large prop for pspec. The batts in the cockpit are 3300's, but i have cut holes into the sides to fit batteries in the sponsons, I used to run a Neu 1515 1100kv on 8s...............four 2s batts. 3300 mah each. The big turnfin really digs in on corners.

On 4s,
How does this hydro handle in the water ?
Will it handle any chop or just glass better ?

Here it is on 8s with the 1515 1100kv....................which is obviously the exact same rpms as the 4074 2200kv on 4s which it has now.

I have my Elam running similar speed with UL1 motor and runs on 2 2s5300.
Handles chop pretty well but once you get above 40mph with these boats it's not just pull the trigger and go.
Takes some tweaking and adjusting but the will handle 50mph and chop if u drive it not just hammer down the entire time.
I have seen someone who cut the sides by the cowl off and graphed them into the cowl for better taping and easier to have space for batteries.

It's a fun boat I enjoy mine a bunch!
Placed 1 and 2 last 2 times racing.
It can run with the ULs no problem when setup correctly.

By the way, the sponsons have been "bluprinted" by sanding any imperfection out of it and can be seen in the underside picture above.

Thought I would mention that since they look odd..................they can be painted if you choose.

Now only $219 to lower 48 states...............this is a fair price!

I hear these are buggers to tape up?
Do you have issues with this one and how much water gets in the hull while running?
Did you get my PM?
Thanks

Yep, about you needing another boat for a different class to race in? This one is not real easy, but its not hard either to tape up, i can do it in about a minute and a half. Very little water gets in if at all. I have the exhaust hole sealed off(pic 4 above) and just tape down below it. You can easily get 50+ mph out of this setup.
