Just thought I'd throw this ol' girl out there.
She's 52" long & carries a 1/16 scale tank. Power is a couple of old Johnson 785 motors running on 2s lipo. Scratch built mainly from 1/8" ply. I would class it as semi-scale.
Here's a couple of videos too.

We did try it Tony, but the ramp needs to be able to swing down further. So yeah a few mods needed for that.
Makes a good transport barge though.

now that's a very cool idea Tony, I these should work to fill and remove the water from the hull, I used them to emty and fill a 415ltr fish tank and it's quick.

I've always wanted to try something like that Tony. Just don't seem to find the time.
Since I caught this infectious 'FE' disease my scale modelling has taken a back seat. I've still got a few big ones to finish off.

Jim.
The tank is a 1/16" scale Panza. Yes, I know. What's it doing on an American LCT?. Well it was captured in France & is being transported across the Channel to England for reverse engineering.:spy:
It's one of the ones Hobbyking sell although I didn't get it from there. It was on special at a local hobby shop so I bought it & built the LCT around it.
They have great sound effects for engine, tracks, main gun, machine gun. Turret turns & raises. Shoots soft pellets. Has exhaust fumes. Here's a link to the ones available from Hobbyking. They are great fun.
