Hi,

All my other boats are 6s and i run the standard 5.5mm bullets on everything, rescue boat included however my latest build it going to be a 12s low kv mono and i really dont want to have to replace all my connectors, am i correct in thinking that the higher the voltage the lower the amp draw and therefore this wont be a problem unless i am pulling some serious amps?

thanks

It should be ok with lower amp draw. I run 5.5's on my batts that power my two Castle 2028 boats, I then have parallel connectors that go from two 5.5's into one 8mm..................which then connects to the ESC, so all my batts are 5.5's.

After getting tired of charging and hooking up LIPOs with various 5-8mm bullets, I settled on this: All LIPOS 2S-5S run large 8mm gold bullets. Motor/ESC leads are 6mm up to 40mm cans, 8mm 50 mm & up cans. Never a ESC/motor bullet meltdown again (I had several with 5-5.5mm), no problem with chargers or LIPOs. JIM:spy:
