You can wire a 6S and a 4S pack in series for 10S1P. But running 10S1P on two 980 Kv motors might not be a very good idea, depending on the "C" rating and the mAh capacity of the packs. Both packs should be the same except for the number of cells, mixing packs can be a bad idea. Total amp draw will likely be high meaning short run times. I think that you'd be better off running 8S. What is the hull you are planning on using? What are the specs on the packs? What props are you planning on using?

Wow, that is nice. And has a carbon kevlar floor which I think is not only nice, but required. Also has a wider stance (length to width ratio) which is interesting. I suspect if the sponsons are true to the original, this boat is going to break some records.

Tinyboater, you removed your post? We sure don't mean to scare you off! But you might repost in the "Fast Electric Rc Boating Questions and Answers" forum. Here's a link to the giant Genesis: http://shop.rcboatbitz.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35&products_id=715
