i changed my mind after completing 70 % or so to convert it to electric.

im putting in a xk3665-B-2300kv motor on a 4s

i had to,
cut the shaft tube
cut the bulkhead
glue in a new bulkhead out of 1/16 ply to stop any small amount of water from getting to the receiver, (that might come through the shaft tube)
glue in 3.2mm plywood spacers to make the motor mount fit snug
and cut out the old engine wood blocks, this was done by first drilling in to it, then using a dremel bit in the drill press as a makeshift mill.

it turned out pretty nice, i designed the catch on autocad which allows for 4x 2200 2s packs in series & parallel to give 4400 4s.
And the overal weight is 1700 grams.

quite a snug fit but it fits, had to solder the esc directly to the motor becauses 5.5mm bullets were to big.
