    Offset rudders

So, I see that most of not all of the most popular models have offset rudder. In particular, the one I will soon own, the MC. What are the advantages of an offset rudder? Does this mean that the boat will not make left turns at speed?

I think its to compensate for the prop twist, like the prop spinning toward the left would have the tendency to "pull" the boat left, the off set rudder pulls it back i think
When speed isnt the option, change your ways

Putting the rudder blade behind the prop gets in the way of the thrust cone from the prop and causes things like porpoising. Having it offset runs much better.... Turns will be fine

Ok thank you. I am impatiently waiting for my MC to be delivered. This will be my first RC boat. Till now I was strictly a "car guy".
