My neighbor donated his SK Daddle Jr to me instead of hanging on the wall or throwing it in the trash, and we had some parts laying around....so my son and I turned this flat bottom into an airboat?!?

Motor: son's Losi mini DT ESC crapped out so we robbed the motor and replaced it with a B/L setup.
The prop came off some radioshack toy
2.4 GHZ tx/rx
2s Lipo
Novak brushed speed controller
HiTech servo
Plywood
Ingenuity

Tommorow we will launch and see what this baby can do :)
I'll post a video (why not)

I built one of those 40 years ago, but powered it with a nitro .049 water prop setup. A fun little boat, I like what you have done for the steering! That's not much power but it should still be fun. You may find that a turn fin is required to make smooth turns, it was originally mounted on the keel at the CG point. Or you may enjoy the dirt-track kind of turns. Good luck and keep us updated.

Well, it won't win any races, but it puts a smile on my son's face....PRICELESS!!!

Now maybe just a tiny bit larger prop will get it up on plane....
