Charger Question

Hello again. I have the Venom prochrger. The older green one. When I select the Store function for my batteries it reads ( battery voltage too high). Is this because the batteries have to be discharged first and then the charger will chrger to the requred storage voltage? I guess my charger cant discharge then store only discharge then recharge to storage capacity?

If it has a discharge function use that to discharge them and then set to storage.
