Yesterday was a hectic day...
i would like to say Congratulation to paul for his 3rd place in EA mono
i had a crap day in the EB Rigger finishing 2nd in the first heat and then not finishing a race in the next 4 heats due to water coming into the boat and safety loops coming out.
But my brother with his EB Rigger took out 1st place
and my dad took out 3rd place with his EB rigger.

Thanks Chris. It was good that 1st 2nd & 3rd in the EA Mono all came from our club.
It was a shame you had such rotten luck with your rigger but congrats to Troy for his win.

D. Newland.
There were two of those twin nitro tunnels owned by two brothers, & they put on some hectic, paint swapping racing yesterday. No love lost between them out on the water.

Unfortunately I forgot the camera yesterday. But I can report that I managed to take out 1st place in the Restricted Mono. And Mark took out the EB Sports Hydro championship.
I'm not competing in any class today so I'll have plenty of time to take some pics.

I must clarify that the Restricted Mono was a demonstration class at these titles.
Cheers.
Paul.

A few pics from today & a couple of videos too. An EB Tunnel heat, & an EA Hydro heat. As you can hear in the EA Hydro , no one on the stand could see the dead boat in the glare of the sun. But Shane's yellow Rigger Took out the heat & the Championship.

Can you give me an idea what makes up the EB class? What's the typical hull size, motor and battery configuration?

Nice racing both videos.

EB is the cell count of the class which is 6s
EA is 4s
in the class there is no motor limits, but u can only run 1p packs and any size hull in the class

Example- EB Hydro= 6s1p, any motor, any esc, hull needs to be rigger

Thanks for the clarification Chris. I realised today that I had the description wrong.
I'll edit the post & the video title.
It was a real drivers race between those two for the whole race in EB tunnel.
I did take some pics & footage yesterday but haven't up loaded them yet. It will have to wait until tonight.
The highlight of the day for me was picking up 3rd in the EA Sports Hydro class (that's 4s1p) with the 33"Whiplash.:w00t:
It's been raining nearly all night, & still is this morning, so today will be a bit miserable I think. No Racing for me today, but I will be doing a bit of pit work for others.
Cheers.
Paul.

Here's a few more pics.
You've got to love Daves pitman (Locky) for his twin EC Rigger.
The hole in the back of the rescue dingy was put there by a big petrol mono that lost radio. The dingy was up on the bank & the mono came straight across the lake at full noise & did that. Just a few scratches on the carbon fibre mono.

Great photos and videos guys. I enjoyed the one day I was able to come out and watch. A real shame it rained on Saturday.

I'm surprise the results haven't been posted on the AMPBA forums, but congrats to those who took home the wins!
