To me, this is my day job at he moment, but to all the people that own, or are on the build list to own an ML Boatworks hull, this may be interesting. Many of you know I try to keep my buyers updated as much as possible about their builds in build threads of pics. I unusually only show close ups of the hull, but if you ever wondered what the place looks like that built your hull, or shipped your kit, here is a quick look! I have a LOT of builds going on at the moment so I thought it would make for a cool pic, and have even more kits on the way...one of them may be yours!

The garage, AKA "ML Boatworks, build devision (yes this thread is ment to be comical!):

Sport 20 Hydroplane kits waiting freshly pulled from their ply sheets, assembly just around the corner!:

Sport 20 and Sport 20L kits in their build phase. I try to do a bunch of similiar hulls as one time like a production line, haha:

Gas GS480 Tunnel almost finished up and ready for shipping:

A couple scales, the mostly finished hull is a local friend of mines '90 Budweiser 1/8th scale, and the other is a frame kit that will, hopefully soon down the road, be the '92 Winston Eagle:

Fiberglass department, molds to make the sport hydroplane and PS295 cowlings:

This JAE build is owned by the same gentleman who is having me build the '92 Winston Eagle scale hydroplane, and this will be part of the Winston Eagle painted hulls I shared on OSE a couple months ago. There will be 6 Winston Eagle painted hulls when the set is complete. 3 of the 6 are already done! Behind that is various hardware kits, skid fins, etc. awaiting their wood couterparts:

"The Shipping Department" and the soon to be cowling plug to make a fiberglass mold for the GS480 Gas Tunnel. Finally, like the PS295 tunnel, this hull will have its own cowling instead of having to use other companys cowlings!:

I hope you enjoyed the tour as much as I enjoy building these hulls and offering these kits. Thanks to those out there that choose to support ML Boatworks and "Built in the USA"!!!!! Mike, www.ml-boatworks.com (http://www.ml-boatworks.com/)

Looks like my shop, just swap out guitars for boats! Pretty much the same machine collection.
Current project is rebuilding a 120 year old neopolitain mandolin.

That's cool Siberian... I also build guitars, most of my work is done in my friends furniture restoration shop. I'm lucky to have great friends who share their shop with me.
