Here is how I have put the batteries either side of the motor using some balsa wood, doesn't look the best but it does the job. Now I have loads of scope to move the batteries back and forth for the best cog. I haven't tried it out yet but in the bath it sits in the water very evenly. My last p1 was rear heavy with the batteries at the back.

Hi,:tiphat:
I took the wood out and put the cells strapped to the floor,
So I can do the same think, But just lower cog.
Also moved the servo to center of hull,
I am thinking to offset the rudder to, Still not sure if I should.

How does it run with the batteries by the motor?

First time out a little to wet,
My temps were a little high after 4 min runs on 4s2p,
But the prop that came with the boat was a x640 and I just looked at it good and it is not s&b right.
So I have a s&b m440 and a s215 that I will try today and see if temps get better.
I would like to make this link a mod thread so we can look in one place for stuff to do.
I am going to try and move all mine post to that link.
Hear the link on it,http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/showthread.php?32137-P1-kos-35-quot-offset-rudder.
