Removing battery tray question

I see some people out there removed the battery tray from the center of their boat in order to run the batteries in the sponsons. My question is how did you remove it without tearing up the fiberglass?

Shaftman, use a little heat from heat gun amd pry gently. It will pop right out. Use a dremel to sand the glue thats left.
