Hi i was wondering if you use a single drive line do you fill in the spacers at the rear of the boat that are use for twin set up?

Cheers

Hi Paul ,

Wise move to build a single drive , as you have half the cost & half the maintenance involved as with a twin . Without seeing the rear of the hull where you are talking about , I would say if the twin spacers are causing concern in any way then do something about it . You do not want to build unwanted weight into your build if it is a fairly big hull , then inherently it will be relatively heavy .

Interested in knowing what brand of hull it is , as the tunnel doesn't seem so deep ?

All the best with the build .....

I would give it a try I used standoff brackets a few times on my cats and it made a big difference in handling on two of my boats and on one it made no difference at all but you might want to get other opinions I am not sure how it will work with your hull I am not a fan of inline setups but that's my own opinion good luck
