Rudder Q...

I have a rudder Q. Would I be ok if I used a wedge rudder that is 3.75 inches "turning blade measurement" on my SH knock off V hull that is 40"? Or should I use a straight rudder?

Should be fine. That boat has a high freeboard. make sure you mount ot low enough on the stern so that it gets a good bite.
